Nearly thanksgiving time.

Who is planning the meal?? Me yup gotta get in gear here. 3 kids and pregnant. Can't wait!! This year is a first we are not hosting it. While I'm glad to not deal with the mess in my home with ppl I've still gotta cook. I love cooking though. So this year I'll be cooking the turkey to take to my sisters house, stuffing, sweet potatoes and the favorite pumpkin pie.
Kids are working on school most days. Ha I'm not structured to do it daily but the growth I've seen is amazing. Spending more time as a family to learn then each kid doing it themselves. We got some games to play that work on colors and counting. That's been fun to do. We made a paper link count down to the baby's expected due date. So each day they can rip a color off. It's amazing to see them learning. Right now we are working on recognizing the different letters out of order, and learning to read a clock. "It's at the 1&1 mom." No it's 11 kiddo. But they are getting it. We showed them what happens with vinegar and baking soda. That was a blast to watch them see that. They are beginning to help more in the kitchen. That makes my OCD go nuts. It's fun though. I'm so glad I'm able to be home to teach them all this. Now if only I could teach them to sit longer. With the due date arriving just after the new year we have been planning easy meals that I can cook while trying to heal.

June already

We have been so busy that there has been no time to sit and post.
Between jan and April we were hit with nearly every sickness. Never have had such sickness before. Laryngomalica can make a kid really weak and not able to fight things as well due to needing to work so hard just to take in o2. That's tai she doesn't gain weight fast she is about 14lbs now. Well she keeps getting sick and has spend time already in the hospital. She got rsv. Even in Korea we never got any of these illnesses. That was scary seeing her like that. Well she has been free of sickness for a month now yay. Big kids are growing like weeds!!! Tai turns 1 soon!!!! She is a smart kid just like her sis.

The flu

This month we had the flu(influenza a). I have never been so sick in my life!!!!!! We don't do shots and never will. We got it from someone who got their shot and didn't share with us that they had it. So we spent time with them and with in 21days the kids and I came down with it. The girls took it so so hard and had a very hard time breathing. You have no idea how hard, when you see them suck in and their throats sink in, your heart breaks. I got it last and was able to nurse the girls to help them feel better faster. I urge if you feel sick stay home and don't come to my house please. The kids ended up with pneumonia as well after the flu. Not how we wanted to spend the start of the year.

Bugs and baby sissy

Today we took tai into the ENT and it's confirmed that she too shares the same medical issue that bug has, Laryngomalica. We were able to catch it ourself and the ENT confirmed. I'm sad that she has to fight to just breath too. Please be praying for their healing. 

Bug doesn't need surgery right now!! Praise God!!!

Thanksgiving with family.

This year we got to be home for Thanksgiving in our home town. It's been five years since I was home for Thanksgiving. My family got to spend time over at my house for Thanksgiving. And then my grandparents on my dad side come as well as my dad's two sisters. It was nice and small.
This year we were very thankful for our rainbow baby.  What are you most thankful for?

Chiari I hate you!

Yes, I do HATE chiari and what it does. AshLynn struggles ENOUGH. Her Chiari causes her headaches and pain. Along with the headaches it is pushing on nerves that involve her throat. So breathing affected. She also has Laryngomalicia that looks like she will also need surgery for. :( Im a sad mama. Yesterday the ENT we saw said she is having horrible acid reflux that we need to address with meds. I hate the idea of meds but we need to do what is best for her. He wants to see her again in 6 weeks to see how the meds are working. He also wants a sleep study done in 4 weeks to see how her breathing is during the night. I am very over whelmed by all the new. I thought her LM was gone but due to the reflux its no better then it was at 4/5 months old. Here we go with lots of hospital apts.
