Last week I began to get healthy. One day at a time. I started going to the gym daily. Ok well 5 days a week that is. I started by getting on my bike with the kids in the trailer, and riding to where my husband does his pt. I then let him take the bike to the gym and I drive our car. I then did 30mins of working out. I could not even get a quarter mile. So by day 5 I ran my first mile in 7years. It took 19.17mins to run just a mile. Boy was that work. I did it! It is not much but I did it. Now I am really trying. I have been a couch potatoe for many many years. I got pregnant with my first baby in 2009 but sadly lost it. Then I was married a lil more then a month later. I was weighing 215 then maybe a lil less. My husband took off to BCT a few month later. I slowly kept gaining weight. By April 2010 I was 238. I got pregnant in April with my son. I gave birth at 248. Yea I only gained 10 lbs. I was down to 213 a short time after birth I felt great. I was getting out and biking. I then found out I was pregnant with my daughter. She was born in feb 2012 I don't remember what I weighed at the time. I moved and ate really really bad. Like fast food 3 meals a day for a month do to moving. I gained a lot. So no I am sitting at 259 last week. I am trying to make my life better. I have lost a few lbs since starting last week. Yay! But the bigger improvement I have had is my mile run. I am now down to 17.13min mile. I can't wait to see the lbs drop. Next week I will be upping my work outs if I don't see my weight drop. I have not seen my dr about it yet. Not sure if I should talk to her. I hope to get my weight down to 220-230 by the end of July. I want to fit into my clothes again. I want to also be able to run a mile at 15mins.
Step one get off the couch
Step two get out
Step three keep going
I will be there, I will get to my goal and I will be at a healthy weight.
