AshLynn has been having really bad headaches. We have been giving about 3-4 doses of pain meds a day for the past few weeks. She really doesn't want to play or do anything.
Dr wants us to give her reflux meds, I said no. She has never had an issue with it in 14.5 m so why now. She doesn't need more meds. She never ever has been a spit up baby. He talked to us for a while. And looked over her MRI from oct and feb. He didn't like that the Chiari grew. Well neither do we. He wants to do more tests and study her more. I am fine with that if it means we will find better answers. So we have another MRI set for June. I wish she didn't have this issue. It brakes my heart. He also wants to go with a more natural medicine approach for a while to give her body a break from medicine. Great! So now we will have to try other pain techniques to make her feel better. He told me to nurse more often. :) that made me happy that he supports Breastfeeding. So prayers are heavily needed. Thanks
you can also try a chiropractor as well it might help i know juliana thankfully doesn't have that but she seems to be a much happier baby after i take her in
ReplyDeleteWe are advised not to. The chiro in Boise knows how to deal with Chiari patients but I have yet to find one here. She has been med free. She did need 2 does today though. :(
